Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: West Memphis, AR 72301
Rate Range: $25/hour to $30/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM (1 Opening)
- 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM - 9:30 PM (1 Opening, +$1 shift premium)
Position Summary
We are seeking four skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians for our facility in West Memphis, AR. This is an onsite role with a 6-month contract-to-hire structure. Join our growing team to support our warehouse and distribution operations, contributing to the upkeep and efficiency of equipment vital to our supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Preventative and Corrective Maintenance on conveyors, forklifts, wrap and banding machines, drywall, and plumbing systems (as needed).
- Assist in Production Setup: Help set up and maintain end cap displays for clients.
- PLC System Operation: Monitor, understand, and make adjustments to PLC systems as required (no programming necessary).
- Collaborate with Robotics: Train onsite in robotics operations; robotics experience is a plus.
- Emergency Maintenance: Support emergency repairs to minimize downtime in a high-volume environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years in maintenance within a warehouse or manufacturing setting, with specific experience in conveyor systems and warehouse operations.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in PLC systems (no programming needed), basic computer skills, and familiarity with robotics (training provided).
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Work Authorization: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
Additional Role Details
- Work Schedule: Full-time onsite, 1st or 2nd shift. Expect overtime during busy periods (September-November), with weekend shifts determined by Thursday each week.
- Start Date: ASAP
